Humans, remotely: Connecting with each other in the online learning environment

Remote teaching offers numerous opportunities for connection, creativity and completion, particularly for community college students. During this interactive presentation, we will look at best practices born of necessity in remote teaching, and how they address the human part of our work as much as the pedagogical.  The presenter will share as well as elicit tips and techniques for student engagement that involve humor, compassion and critical thinking while teaching a class that serves individuals and objectives.
