This workshop will provide an overview of two international virtual exchange programs designed to foster intercultural awareness among students and faculty in institutions around the world. Collaborations are enabled through various technological tools utilized in a facilitated project-based active learning environment. Guidelines, considerations, opportunities, and challenges in developing and delivering a module using the COIL model will be discussed. The presenter will also give an overview of the professional development workshops and the partnering process.
